At the moment, we put too much trust in modern technology. We all have GPS on our phones, in our cars, etc. But what if all this doesn’t work? What if the battery runs out? There is one piece of navigation equipment that will never “run out of fuel” – the map and the compass. That’s why we have developed the Scout Compass Mk2, our version of the universal map compass. The compass is filled with liquid. For best navigation, the compass is equipped with a rotating bezel with angle scale, centimetre and inch rulers and 4 map scales – 1:25000, 1:24000, 1:62500 and 1:50000. The compass is also equipped with a touring cord to avoid losing it.
