CROSMAN AIR GUN OIL PELLGUN

Crosman Pellgunoil is a special oil for the prevention and repair of leaks in air pistols.

It is very easy to apply, you need to drop on the bottle before loading into the gun! Crosman Pellgunoil works like this – CO2 guns use synthetic seals and o-rings to keep the gas inside the gun. These seals are not needed to reduce friction, they are needed to create a tight connection between the CO2 tank and the walls of the channels through which it passes.

On a microscopic level, the metal walls of the channels through which CO2 travels in airguns have a very rough surface with many microscopic depressions. The surface of O-rings and synthetic seals is also rough. If the seal and walls remain dry, the pressurized gas will eventually force its way through these tiny depressions. Take a bleed gun and place a drop of Crosman Pellgunoil on the tip of a new CO2 canister before inserting it into the gun. The pressure of the gas will bring the lubricant with it as it passes through the gun (remember we do this with a gun that is already permeable to CO2) until all seals are coated with a thin layer of oil. You cannot see what is happening, but you can be sure that you will hear it. First you hear gas leaks from the gun, then the sound will decrease and go away gradually. Most often, you will hear a thud as the gun seals on its own and instantly.

Unfortunately, this oil cannot fix 100% of defective and CO2 leaking guns. Sometimes it won’t fix the leak. In these cases, replacing the seals will help. Use Crosman Pellgunoil from the moment you buy a new gun and it will extend the life of your gun for a long time.
