The LOWA Zephyr MK2 GTX Mid is the next generation of the proven and popular Zephyr series, designed for professional use in military, police and special forces missions, as well as civilian security operations. This model combines outstanding lightness, stability and durability, ensuring maximum comfort even in difficult and variable conditions.

Construction and design

MID-CUT height – provides optimal ankle support while maintaining freedom of movement in close combat, intensive surgery and rope descent (Fast Rope).

Upper – made of a combination of water-repellent, tear-resistant suede and abrasion-resistant CORDURA® fabric that combines protection, durability and breathability.

GORE-TEX Extended Comfort – waterproof and highly breathable lining, ideal for use in temperate and humid environments; protects feet from moisture and allows effective evaporation of sweat vapour.

Individually adjustable two-zone lacing – with hook-and-loop fastener for precise adjustment at the foot and ankle.

Comfort and support

MONOWRAP® frame – a two-layer PU midsole with exoskeleton function that surrounds the foot and provides stability, cushioning and optimal force distribution.

Injection-moulded construction – top perfectly bonded to the midsole for maximum strength and durability.

Anti-static and insulating sole complex – protects against cold and heat, keeping you comfortable in extreme temperatures.

Soles and security

Hardened to withstand slip, oil, petrol and contact heat (certified to 300 °C according to HRO requirements).

Fast Rope Zone – specially designed to provide stability and control when descending the rope, preventing premature wear.
