Portable rocket-type camping-tourist stove, designed for heating water and cooking in field conditions. Rocket stoves got their name due to their design and the humming sound that occurs when too much air is introduced into the stove.
The fuel is burned in a simple combustion chamber with a vertically insulated chimney, which ensures almost complete combustion before the flame reaches the cooking surface. Structurally, the stove is an F-shaped tube. Firewood is placed in the upper horizontal tube, and as the firewood burns (under the influence of gravity) it moves downward independently. Ash in such a design accumulates in the lower horizontal tube and does not interfere with the draft and combustion intensity, which, in turn, leads to a more economical use of firewood.
After the firewood is ignited, draft is created in the F-shaped channel, due to which the combustion intensity in the rocket stove increases. The higher the temperature of the firebox walls, the more intensively the firewood burns, and the flame becomes stronger. This stove stands out for its economy in firewood consumption and the return of the maximum amount of heat to the power, thanks to the reactive thrust created by the stove’s design itself.
